Looks like the Charlie Brewer Slider Worm. I used that down at Table Rock back in the 80's to win a few tournaments. Great bait I still use it all the time.

I use this rig... but come up about a foot and tie on a drop shot as well...catch many doubles.. great video randy!

I’ve done something similar to this but with the 4” Zoom Deadringer worm.
Here in central Oklahoma about the only clear water we have comes out of the faucet. 😉

Doug Youngblood showed me this type rig on Lanier back in the early 90's. We caught a lot of spots on 4# & 6# line, but occasionally got our hearts broken by a double digit striper wrecking our stuff.

I love the name haha there is a Berkley softbait for trout that looks like that too. We call that the sper* worm :)

Karl I agree with FiremanDan I have been fishing the Slider since the 80's. The concept is the same but Charlie's slider is a little more versatile. Great idea though.

Have a half dozen lakes surrounding me here in So. Utah with large and small mouth bass in them. Never fish for them but watching how you catch them has sparked an interest in giving it a try. All I need to figure out now is how am I going get my boat I left at the cabin out from under 5' of snow. Do you ever fish from shore?
