I think this anime gets a lot of people mainly because, deep down, we all wish and desire to have friends like this.

„Fight“. This wasn’t a fight, he just tried to run away without inflict any injuries to anyone. And still… he needed to use black whip as a walking cane, he couldn’t even stand straight, yet he was able to dodge, break free and reach a flying speed not even Bakugo, Shoto nor Ingenium were capable of reaching solo. That boy was down to maybe 0.1% if his power because he hasn’t slept, hasn’t eaten, he was isolated and targeted by villains and even civilians, yet he was capable of smoking Class A until they combined everything they had without hurting anyone while breaking out of metal, ice and dark shadow. This is skill, this was fricking awesome!

But if it would be a FIGHT, where you do t care about the enemy… he would have totally annihilated them in under 5 seconds and without breaking sweat.

Deku was traveling so fast, Ida's costume couldn't handle the speed.

And Deku was doing this while incredibly fatigued and hungry.

Gives you an idea why All Might held the title of number 1 for a long time... and he didn't even have the power of all the wielders.

If Bakuko didn't say anything Deku would've never came back 😂

Eren and Reiner working together is the most wholesome thing ever.

I love how it isn't just Deku who lost his shine. Ochaco's hair isn't bouncy anymore.

Props for Class 1-A for not backing down like Konoha 11 when they gave up on Sasuke and on Naruto leaving to fall to him. Sasuke said he has no ties except Naruto and u can see why. Deku has that binds. Simple. Except he probably would of leave if Bakugo didn't make him cry again. 😂

Deku has every right to be a villian. And I never knew Deku had this side too. I am watching Season 5 right now

The most goosebump moment in this ep was when todoroki and bakugou were going up to deku and we didn't know lida was hidden in front and bakugou says something like "i have sm to say to u deku *and pauses* but rn I'm gonna let this guy with speed take the lead / do the talking " and then lida flys towards deku and says "meddling with other's business is part of what makes a hero right?"
This scene was so emotional for me it reminds me of season 3 where bakugou was kidnapped by the villains and deku and his frnds went to save him and he tells Kisrishima to lend his hand while saving bakugou the fact that lida was deku's new and frst friend in ua along with uraraka they made use of this and lida saves him so heroically

My dude Deku was on his last legs and STILL it took all of Class 1-A, at their top game, to stop him! Holy shit has he gotten strong! Even then, they partly won because they finally managed to break through Deku's stubbornness (well that and as he said he didn't have any strength left). The fact that he was even able to stand after all that was insane! Poor Deku was completely exhausted, fighting god knows how many villains and probably getting very little sleep or rest inbetween. His costume was in tatters, and he himself was covered in dirt and scratches from all the fights he'd been in. Dunno how much this guy was eating, either. And still he was able to break through a bunch of their traps! It's kinda terrifying, actually. All For One really did wear him down and as Todoroki said that was probably his plan all along. Isolate and chip away at Deku by preying on his fears and unhealthy martyr complex until he was too weak to fight back and then he could easily crush him. I think at the end there Deku was all but moving on autopilot, it didn't even seem like he was really thinking or strategizing the way he normally would. He was almost just mindlessly moving forward, barrelling through any obstacles in his way with frightening single-mindedness.

You can see it in his eyes at 1:50, they're totally bloodshot from lack of sleep and he's practically a zombie, just repeating the same thing over and over again in different words, that he can't go back because it would endanger them all, that this is a fight between AFO and OFA. I almost wonder if he wasn't partly delirious from sleep-deprivation? Sleep-deprivation, particularly extreme sleep-deprivation, can lead to all sorts of nasty side effects like hallucinations, paranoia, dissociation, and other stuff. While I don't think I've ever been that sleep-deprived, I can sort of relate since I suffer from panic disorder. It's gotten better now, but in the past when I had much more frequent panic attacks my nerves were basically shot and after a particularly bad attack I'd be totally exhausted. Like, physically exhausted, as though I just ran a marathon or something. Funny how an adrenaline crash can leave you feeling so drained, even if you weren't actually doing anything strenuous or physically taxing. And yeah, there were days/times when I felt like a zombie (didn't help how my anxiety made it difficult to sleep) just kind of shuffling forward, moving on autopilot. I've also experienced that kind of zombie-ness when sleep-deprived enough, without the anxiety lol. Not fun.
