Listen to the studio version of "Feeling that way" that goes straight into "Anytime". They should always be played together.

The other vocalist who's on the keyboards is Gregg Rolie, formerly the lead singer of Santana throughout most of the 70's.
Singing songs such as "Black Magic Woman"
"Oye Como Va"
"No One To Depend On" &
"Evil Ways".

Live in Osaka, 1980 the best Journey Concert Version here for both Feeling That Way and Anytime, AND will also give you Live Versions of the Best time of Journey including their Progressive Stage Pre Perry. Perry and Gregg together was great, they still had their Prog/Blues freedom, mixed with Perry's talented vocal style meshed with Gregg's haunting. Give the Whole Concert a Go.

On the Infinity album, "Feeling That Way" went directly into "Anytime" without a whole second in between, making it feel like one song. "Anytime" wasn't included in this video though. The best version of both are actually the studio recorded versions...not that the live versions are bad, but Infinity had some pretty sophisticated mixing and subtle studio effects that enhanced the songs. Plus, on the studio versions, Steve Perry was able to provide backing vocals in addition to lead vocals, which made them much sweeter.

Talk about epic afros, Neil Schon's was the sixth member of the band back then.
I think it's a federal offense to listen to this without "Anytime", they are like Queen's "We Will Rock You" and "We Are the Champions", they are always played back to back. I think they went straight into it after this song and they just cut it off for some reason. But the first song was complete here.

Just so this generation understands: this was a live performance for late night, Saturday night TV, no "auto tune, no synthesizers, no computers, the real thing!

Neal Schon is a very under-rated guitarist.
Started playing guitar in Santana at age 15.

Gregg Rollie the keyboardist was also in Santana.
Sung their hit "Black Magic Woman"

that is where those 2 met.

There is another song that goes with this song. It's: "Feeling that Way/Anytime". Get the Journey "Captured" CD and check it out, you'll be able to hear it like it's supposed to be.
