Thanks for the series ! It was and easy question and I solved on my own.

Appreciate the series so far. With this problem, it would be easier if you had isolated Z earlier in the process and then canceled exponents with division. I turned Z^(1) x 3 ^Y x 2^4x = 2x3^Y+1 x 2^6x into Z^1= 2 x 3^y+1 x 2^6x / 3^Y x 2^4x. I feel that it isolates (2x3) x 2^2x slightly quicker allowing you to quickly test factors that producde results below 100.
