One thing about Geertruida's 8 goals is that there were only 3 from open play, one was a penalty and the other 4 from corners (where Trent obviously won't be in the box)

I made a team two days ago and I'm really happy with it, has Haaland and Salah in it, see you all when I get some pre season injuries!

Rogers will be nailed for the start of the season. At the end of last season when he was fit he was starting every game and was one of the best players so he will definitely start the season. Wont be a 90 minute man but will have a big impact when he is playing

Good draft mate! I've managed a 98% on FFH and gonna go with this.
Pickford, (Virginia);
TAA, Gvardiol, Saliba, (Anderson, Barco);
Salah, Eze, Nkunku, Foden, (Andreas);
Isak, Wood, Havertz

Gives me the Arsenal attacker, even though I'd prefer Saka, and City attack. Andreas for ESR if he signs. That is draft 77, 000. Hopefully work my way to Watkins for around GW 4.

Great draft Ross. I'm of a similar mindset to you, but with a couple of variations. I have Raya in goal and a 4.5m rotating defender instead of Saliba. You have an extra premium midfielder - I have Nkunku and Havertz instead of Stewart. More rotation options for me but not as strong in midfield as you.

I heve got the feeling that Halland will score couple of Hat-tricks in the first two or three games and all no Halland teams will be doing their early WC when Isak, Watkins wood etc not deliver :) i going for Salah and Halland and just in case can always transfer them out easily.
But this is a beauty of FPL We all can be right or wrong.

The counter argument for having a OK bench is the 5 FTs. Naturally going to want to find an extra 0.5, 1.0, 1.5. By putting all money into XI you make what would have been 2FTs into 1FT. Stockpiling FTs feels the secret weapon this year. Mini WCs on big fixture swings

Excited for the new pod will deffo be an avid listener! Keep up the good work Ross. With fpl I like Roger’s but u think the 5.5 mids such as pereira and mavididi are being overlooked especially when they take so many set pieces.

Similar set up to what I am currently on.

I own TAA and Gvardiol but have opted for 2x £4.5m DEF in Burn and Konsa.

The MID is similar except I have Foden and Nkunku over your Saka and Palmer. I own Watkins too.

My FFH overall % is 94 and remains high for a number of GWs 💥

I feel like this no Haaland charade going on in the community has to stop. It's easy to make no Haaland drafts now with 3 weeks to go but everyone and their mom will have him in by the deadline.

Hi Raptor, loving the team, I’ve gone with a haaland and salah draft at the moment and I’ve got 1 question, what combination is better (also I have isak for Newcastle cover)

1. 2 6.5 million mids
2. Gordon and a 5.5 mid

Nice draft Ross. My current draft is basically the same but I have Gordon, Watkins and Foden for Palmer, Saka and Wood with Armstrong being a 4.5 mill forward. I really like the 3 6 mill defenders. Looking forward to FPL Therapy

I have managed to get a 96 rated team. Crazy thing is i might not even go or that team (bias towards my own teams player :( )
For people who wanna know the team: flekken, turner.
Gvar, saliba, vdv, robinson, barco
Salah, foden, gordon, eze, nkunku
Watkin, isak, wood.
Im prob switching out one of the midfielders, likely foden or gordon for madders and improve the def. That team only managed a 94 but its what my heart told me:((
