Eachine E200 Direct Drive Scale UH-60 Review & Test Flight

Показать описание
The Eachine E200 is perhaps one of the best small scale RC helicopters on the market right now due in part to the amazing scale details, combined with the direct drive main motor performance & efficiency. It also flies great!

It is however not for everyone. Why?

Like all finely detailed scale RC helicopters, the Eachine E200 is fragile and harder to work on than a comparable sized pod & boom 200 size collective pitch RC helicopter.

Also like all scale RC helicopters, scale comes at a price premium & costs substantially more than an equivalent, similar size & spec pod & boom collective pitch RC helicopter.

You therefor have to be a scale RC helicopter enthusiast and competent collective pitch RC helicopter pilot in order to appreciate what this amazing scale Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk RC helicopter has to offer without crashing it. The E200 like all scale RC helicopters is no good for learning on.

As you'll see in this review, the 1/47 scale E200 is an impressive scale heli. It not only looks great statically and up in the air, but it flies amazing well with the smoothness and predictability of larger collective pitch RC helicopters.

Addressing all rivet counters who have the same two comments/questions about the scale accuracy of this model:

*_1. Main blades turning the wrong way:_* What you may not realize it that approximately 90% of all RC helicopters (100% of all this size) have CW rotating mains, and in order to switch the rotation direction, Eachine would have to have a different FBL system/firmware to accommodate the opposite phase lag & reactive torque. Something tells me they are not going to that trouble or expense for one single small heli in their entire line-up. And honestly who even cares? Once it's spooled, you can't tell which way they are turning; you simply see an opaque rotor disc.

These are the necessary scale compromises required to have a decent & efficient flying scale RC helicopter in this 200 size range. This is not a static model that sits on the shelf collecting dust after all; believe it or not, RC enthusiasts actually want to fly it and we want a good performing heli while doing so. 🙂

As a UH-60 driver, you grabbed the antenna. One of the better looking RCs I have seen.

Your website and videos have helped me to no end, I participated in my first size 770mm and below flights in Australia, 2 years from a echine / blade rtf start to a spektrum run 700 goblin raw and a few toys per recommendation on the channel. Many thanks

Impressive for it's size and handled the breeze fine. Hopefully they'll rethink about the battery and make it a lot easier for the pilot.

great review i bought one of these last year first flight on landing broke the tail fin what a job to fix it then wheel suspension broke sent away for a set then found it was hard to replace them so had to drill two holes ether side to fit them what a game doing so cut the red light wire so sent of for one it arrived but like you had a difficult time splitting it so had to cut wire and tape them together still work's since then haven't flown it wish i hadn't bought it. to be honest your the first person on you tube to show how to fly and strip it down brilliant thank's for that. eugene coventry uk

Love watching someone with masterful flying skills demonstrate a toy's ability.

Impressive. To be honest, I’m more impressed with your home. Beautiful place.

Nice video! FYI, HeliMax actually use to produce this same heli in the same size with an actual miniature shaft driven tail. It was discontinued many years ago, probably due to the extensive repairs needed when crashed. Wish I hadn't sold mine because the adjustable pitch tail really added to the realism.

Looks great. They are coming out with the NAVY MH-60S “Tridents” soon and I like the light gray/red scheme they did so I am going to get that one. 👍

Another great review John, i think your one of the first ppl to do proper 3D with it, so hats off to you. Been waiting a long time for an affordable 200 scale heli. I really hope they do a eurocopter version with a minature fenestron! Also enjoying ur other xxl ec build.

hi John, yes they are a beauty to behold, loving mine. A regular 6 cell lipo checker does match into the lipo pinouts just fine. I'm adding blue LEDs into the canopy area for when it gets really dark outside.
