What's hard about this course is the fact that it's a first year college course. That's the first math course you take.

Actually I wouldn't call this a calculus and linear algebra course, it's more of a functional analysis course. I really love that include problems with quaternions (because I'm working with them :) )

I’ve heard it’s mostly just fast. It’s real analysis, complex Analysis and linear algebra combined into 2 semesters. On the Harvard subreddit most people regret taking that class as they didn’t remember much

This is stuff a math BA should be able to do, the reason it's hard is because Math 55 is a FRESHMAN level course and crams several different courses into one

There is no ‘hardest’, all the top universities are equally the hardest. I do maths and Cambridge and the sheets are just as hellish as that Harvard one and your Oxford ones

That's like 3 courses(linear, abstract alg and real analysis) combined in one, but the difficulty seems okay

3rd question uses representation theory, usually taught in the 3rd/4th year in uni, In Harvard these are first year students Homework assignments
