Damn man I do like Billy in the live action movie and don't know much about the character in general, but this version of Billy was awesome and seems peak to me. Just genuinely a nice kid wanting to do good based on the words of his parents even when in the Foster Care system. He knows its hard, but keeps it up. Loved this movie and this scene.

One of the best Comic moments ever was when Superman found out Billy is Captain Marvel. He immediately went to the Wizard and even full knowing the Wizard can beat him since he is vulnerable to Magic, he still gave him an ear full for entrusting godlike powers to a child

For real I think the thing a lot of writers forget is superman isn't superman because of his abilities its his determination and indomitable sense of good that makes the character who he is "the perfect representation of what a man should be"
