What a Wonderful World guitar lesson (EASY VERSION)

Hey all! This week I’m showing you the simplest possible chord progression for "What a Wonderful World" I could come up without sacrificing any of the important harmony or melody lines. There’s minimal use of barre chords, the chord voicings are all common ones you’ll encounter everywhere, and it’s performed at a nice slow tempo, so it’s a great tune for working up your rhythm playing. It’s also played at weddings and get-togethers the world ‘round, making it a great starting point for anyone looking to build up their guitar songbank.

This is also my first installment of a new lesson series I’m starting called Strum Chum Sessions. The idea behind it is to take well-known pop songs, especially those that don’t have obvious guitar parts; distill them into simple, strummable, and accurate arrangements; and then present them to you in the clearest, most succinct way to get you singing and playing your favorite songs as quickly as possible. Learning these songs will be fast, it’ll be easy, and it’ll be fun.

Contents:
0:00 Intro
0:18 Strum pattern
0:37 Song form
0:47 Lesson and playthrough
3:03 Outro

So clean, simple and excellent.Very well done. I have struggled with this song until your lesson. Nice teaching method, expecially for older folks like me.

I couldn't play an instrument to save my life, but I watched this three times. Why? To listen to Toni strum her guitar, to listen to Toni talk, to watch Toni smile. 100% beautiful. Thanks Toni.

Chord diagrams are so much better than the “third finger on the third fret of the D string....etc...etc....” seeing both hands is so good for chord changes and strum timing. Great job!

I just learned more about playing guitar in 3:39 mins., than I've learned in a lifetime. If this doesn't become the go to channel for beginners around the world, then something's amiss. Well done...

Thank you Toni for providing this. For some reason, I just saw it for the first time even though I've been following you for quite some time. You couldn't have made it any simpler and I appreciate it.
