Fun fact about the town next to my hometown: it was named because of a card game. Show Low, Arizona was named after two owners of a 100, 000 acre ranch decided the acreage wasnt big enough for both of them and decided to play the card game Seven Up to decide who gets the land. After a while with no clear winner, one man stated "if you can show low you win" to which the other man flipped the next card over, a duece of clubs to win. The town is named Show Low in rememberance and the main street is named the deuce of clubs after the winning card.

I was at my local card room a few weeks back. When I was looking at the cards, one of the corners was sharp as hell. I folded last and flipped it and told the dealer its marked. It was a deuce. Everyone was like " why would they mark a deuce?" 🤣🤣🤣
