I appreciated your thought process in laying out the strips.

Thank you Sherri. We have an oval table and it’s just hubby and I so I rarely use the extra leaf. Translated means, I have been too lazy to make a table cloth just for us. Lol, didn’t want to do the work to figure out how to make the right oval size. The second I saw the Christmas one I knew this would be perfect AND an easy way to dress up the table.

I love the color balance of the Christmas one. You went a tad bit darker with the center and added two lights to the two sides. That balance would be perfect for our smaller table as the heavier balance is in the center. Tomorrow I’m taking a break from my quilts for Christmas gifting and make an autumn version. Thank you for taking the time to make this video to help those of quilters ‘out here’. I appreciate it. And I loved seeing your face lift up at the end as you were sharing with us. From Maine.

Thanks for this tutorial, as we won’t be seeing family over Christmas for a big dinner I thought I would do table runners for everyone. That way we can “be at the dinner” sort of lol.

I would quilt as you go with quilt sandwich already prepared. Trim and then add binding

Sherri. Thanks so much for this tutorial. Love the idea of the Christmas fabrics! Who wouldn’t want a handmade Christmas table runner or mug rug?!

Love the simplicity of this runner. It's both quick and very pretty. One question, though. It looks like it can be made by quilt-as-you-go. In your opinion, would that work for this project?

Thank you for the video! You may have said this, but what do you prefer to use for the batting in table runners?

I said if you filmed it, I'd watch it. I loved it! I especially loved the idea of doing the mug rugs in conjunction with the table runner. Thank you for a simple, easy to understand instructions. I can tell you were a teacher in your other life!

I love that quilt rack on your left in the back. Is that available anywhere for purchase? I would love to have one just like it if there is. Please let me know if possible. Thanks so much in advance.

I love this but I can’t find the PDF on your blog

The pdf instructions are different then what you tell us on the video. PDF says to cut the 2 1/2 inch strips to 12 inches long. You say 10 1/2 inches long in the video. Please clarify. Thank you
