Adam Carolla Disses Female Comediennes!

Показать описание
Adam Carolla doesn't think female comedians are funny and some of the top women in comedy are mad!
Comedian Adam Carolla is causing quite a controversy in Hollywood over a recent interview he gave where he said quite simply, women aren't as funny as guys.
He told the NY Post that he doesn't hate working with women, but said "they're always the least funny on the writing staff."
He further explained, "The reason why you know more funny dudes than funny chicks is that dudes are funnier than chicks."
He finished up by saying that if his daughter has a mediocre sense of humor, he's going to advise her to be a staff writer for a sitcom because "They'll have to hire you, they can't really fire you, and you don't have to produce that much. It'll be awesome."
Adam stands by what he said—he used the analogy of picking players for a basketball team, saying "you'll take the brother over the guy with the yarmulke."
He complimented Sarah Silverman, Tina Fey, and Kathy Griffin, but said when you're playing the odds, most other female comedians can't compare.
As you can imagine, tons of people are up in arms over this.
For one, the writer, producer, director, and star of HBO's Girls, Lena Dunham, said on Twitter, "Wait, Adam Carolla, is he the one who did the voice of the parrot in Aladdin??? He makes me giggle."
Roseanne Barr seemed pretty peeved about all this, saying "Actually, a shout out to all funny male comics whom I love: every other guy comic except Adam Carolla."
And finally, cartoonist Danielle Corsetto delivered this harsh burn: "In an ironic twist, 'women aren't funny' ranked number one funniest thing Adam Carolla has ever said."
So let's break it down you guys, are you Team Adam or Team... Everyone Else?
