First off that was absolutely stunning and I'm devastated. Secondly I can't believe the damned writers don't know the difference between a character death that is earned through good storytelling and gratuitous death for the sake of death and in Villanelle's case shock value. I will forever hold bitterness towards how they handled such iconic characters.

I loved this two <3 a complicated relationship. But there is love in this. Strange, hurting and violent love but...it's Villanelle. It's Konstantin. They are family.

Konstantin is the character I, for obvious reasons, most identified with (I'm German but Scandinavian and Slavic mix, dad of three Eurasian gals), and it killed me that he wasn't able to protect his quasi daughter from all that heartship. In fact he was prettey useless, but for some time he was all that V had, her only anchor. It's difficult to be a father, trying to protect someone you barely understand...

I just recently watched Killing Eve S4 finale and I have mixed emotions about the way it ended, however, realistically Eve and Villanelle would have never worked out, their obsession with each other was toxic, Villanelle infected Eve just like Konstantin said she would. At times their "relationship" looked kinda intresting but it was just, I dunno, it didn't convince me enough lol
To me what made Killing Eve worth watching, entertaining, funny and sad was the complicated yet beautiful relationship of Konstantin and Villanelle, the relationship of a handler and his assassin, a weird, but complex father and daughter relationship of killing lol It reminds me a little bit of Karl and Elise from, "The Tunnel", a BBC short lived series, highly recommend.
Anyway, Konstantin was all Villanelle had and Konstantin all he needed was Villanelle, at times they both gave each other hard times but that's family, you can't live without them.
Both of them dying is bittersweet, Pam, a noob, killing Konstantin was shocking and Villanelle getting sniped from a mystery person was poorly executed and anticlimactic. Despite all that, killing my two favorite characters is complicated yet I think understand why the writers did that....I dunno, I'm still processing the ending but your video is helping me out, thanks =)
