There's nothing in the Bible about a triune god. Jesus made it very clear that he wasn't a god [except in John].
The gospels were written after it was clear that Jesus was mistaken in all of his prophecies.
The Son of Man didn't come and reverse the socioeconomic structure and his twelve disciples are not twelve kings with twelve kingdoms.

I never saw clapping at a Pope's funeral before. Then again, Pope John Paul II's funeral is the only one I can fully recollect. I was a child when the other popes that presided him passed.
