i have been dreaming about coming to stockholm for quite some time now & the city blew my expectations away... i had the loveliest 5 days exploring and playing tourist, eating amazing swedish food (still dreaming about those meatballs), thrifting, and getting to be there for midsommar!

I live around the corner from Meatballs for the people and I’m baffled by the length of that queue ever single day of the week nowadays. There are literally great meatballs to be had all around Stockholm if anyone don’t want to wait in line for that long (literally two blocks away you can get them cheaper and no queue). Nice to see people making their way to Södermalm, I just hope some wander on to the cosier places a few blocks away in any direction like Nytorget, Årstaviken, Mosebacke. Glad you enjoyed 🫶

The cucumber was traditional "pressgurka", basically a quick-pickle cucumber with vinegar, sugar, salt that can be done in an hour or so.

Looks like you had a great time. Södermalm is my fave part of Stockholm. Used to live nearby ”skinnis”. Spent alot of time enjoying the view with some good beverage and company 🙂

Affordable beer is readily available in Stockholm if you target the right bars. While not necessarily top-tier, many offer decent options. Great that you enjoyed your stay in my town.

Thanks for the nice vid! In case you didn't know, let me tell you that the Stadshuset you looked is the home of the Nobel Dinner for al the Nobel Prize winners. The inside of the building is awesome with several stunning rooms and halls. Maybe you can take a tour next time you are in town.
