Those were the years that you just want to bring back.. I was 3 in 2011 but I had similar experiences. Just being a kid, playing with toys, plying outside, and not aware of the problems going on around us. That’s all I want, nothing more. My memories from 2015 to 2010 are all blurred, and I want to see it all clearly again. :(

I absolutely love the detail. For example, Kukkī obviously tried to keep the simplicity of Gacha, while adding nostalgic details.
Like, the colored hair extension, a Capri sun, and what I believe to be a toy in the seat next to the kid.

I was born in 2002. Still remember building pillow forts, having silly string wars, playing outside at that little playground, the pie throw we did with our teachers every year, biting into my sisters squishy frog when I was 2, pranking the meaner teachers at the end of each year, and playing on my kindle fire in the back of my grandmas truck with the little bolted down swivel chairs. Those were fun memories. I love it when i’m just sitting around and suddenly I remember these days. I wish I was a small kid again.
Before the teen years, the body shaming, the bullying, the screaming at home, and all the trauma. ( but most importantly! Cotton candy cigarettes )

At least I have some happy childhood memories. Some people can’t say the same.

The Capri Sun did it. I was 6 years old in 2011, recently moved to a new country, getting used to its culture and meeting my relatives mostly for the first time. I remember that year my mom, grandparents, cousins, and me went to a little park on top of a mountain at the outskirts of town, and remember going on the swings with my cousin who's older than me by two years exactly (we have the same birthday). It was dark and we could see the lights from all over town, plus I could feel the cool wind all over my hair as I swung back and forth. We had a small snack break with some candy and Capri Sun (and those candy cigarettes, my god I still love those), and I just felt straight-up alive. After I turned thirteen in 2018, I stopped feeling so alive, all I see in bland colors, even if I see the same things I saw in my childhood. I should've known these times are unreplaceable, and I was blissfully unaware of this fact.
To any child reading this: Get the f off the Internet, for crying out loud, and enjoy these precious moments, you can't replace them for anything. Go outside, play, get some fresh air, live your young life to the fullest! Don't spend them trapped in front of a dumb screen! This will probably be your one and only chance to enjoy life!!
