Fuzz comparison Fender THE PELT vs Fender THE TRAPPER

This is a quick comparison of two Fender fuzz pedals, THE PELT and THE TRAPPER.

In the first part of the video I keep the TONE control the same and change the FUZZ control setting and in the second part, I change the TONE control setting.

There are other controls to vary the sound of these pedals but to keep this video short, I keep them at 12 o'clock.

THE TRAPPER has a stronger fuzz sound than THE PELT at the same setting and it is capable of more extreme fuzz tones while THE PELT has more controls to vary it's overall tone.

I created a piece of music to demonstrate the fuzz pedals on a choppy rhythm part, sustained chords and a lead guitar part.

I used a Fender USA stratocaster into a Marshall JTM-45 for the guitar parts and a Fender player jazz bass DI'd. The background synth sounds are from IK Multimedia Syntronik 2.

I guess the fuzzes are not kind of silent pedals so I have one question. Is Pelt noisy? I turned down Fuzz knob totally down and there is no Sound from guitar, Level in middle and there is noticable white noise. Compared to my Rat clone. Rat is silent. Stacking with Pelt makes a bit noisy shit

There is one more thing I noticed (btw. I received Pelt today). I dont have any problems with ground-loop noise or something like this on my pedal board. In Pelt, when I'm touching Thick switch and not touching guitar strings, there is THAT grounding-related issue noise. Nothing like that happening for Mid switch :D

I have this pedal and the only way you can get anything useful out of it is compressor -> boost -> The Trapper.
It’s the worst Fuzz imaginable.
