I served the same time frame he did (1983-2009) and I’m a retired Infantryman and sniper qualified, he’s absolutely right, the Rangers are outstanding warriors but they are dedicated killing machines and they won’t stop until their leaders tell them to! I’m navel lint compared to Delta boys, was amazing to watch them in action in mid December 1989 on Camp Shelby!

You had A squadron, they were like the party guys. Then you had B squadron, they liked to party. Then theres C squadron, who were like the party guys. And lastly D squadron. They were a mix of all 3.

That’s crazy. It almost the exact replica of how DEVGRU squadrons are structured, lol kinda funny. Red squadron I heard is full of funny guys who’ll do pranks sometimes. Blue squadron is the more introverted and arrogant bandits, that’s why they are called the pirates. Gold squadron I heard is full of professionals who are very confident and dedicated. And silver squadron is the mixture of all the first 3 squadrons. Funny how them and DELTA are structured the same.

B Squadron- Marines
C Squadron-Army
D Squadron Joint Special Forces Members. Recon Marines, Seals, Green Berets, and my favorite the PJ's from Air Force.
P.S. I was Recon However I have the most respect for PJ's. Those guys are F'n unreal!! But I love you all just PJ's a bit more. I owe everything to a PJ, you know who you are my Brother!!

That's hilarious, I do the b squadron thing too. Stare at people in their eye sockets from a mile away for way too long, but I'm uncomfortable with the gaze up close.
