My guitar idol for decades now. I cried watching Larry struggle through the tremors but still keep control and play beautifully. To hear him say in a previous NAMM video from the same day that he hadn't picked up a guitar in a month is just tear jerking. My dad was Sinatra's sax player for decades. If he couldn't pick up his horn every day we knew something was up. He made it to 98 but hadn't played for a few months before he passed. We wish Larry only the best, and if he comes to NYC again, you can be sure that we'll be there to see him as we have for years.

The man has forgotten more than the rest of us will ever know.
Many thanks for uploading.

An iconic figure in recorded music, a legendary musician in American culture. His struggles with the shakes are irrelevant to the quality of the music that comes out of his guitar. His chord melody is as astonishing as ever and it's great to see him smile at his own genius.

Blows me away why this room is not full of guitar players watching this guitar master.

I saw him in 82 or 83 during his Sleepwalk tour at the Tralf in Buffalo. I sat at the center table 5 feet in front of him. I'll never forget it! He was amazing, and he's the reason I just bought an ES-335.

Breaks my heart. Saw him a few years ago, and he seemed completely healthy. Got hooked on his music over 40 years ago.

Sooo tasteful. Every note part of a phrase, phrase part of a sentence, sentence part of a paragraph... He's always been so good. One of my early favorite jazz guitar players, before I even really got into jazz. I remember listening to The Crusaders and his solos on their Southern Comfort album - wow, like 50 years ago. He still sounds terrific.

Watched Larry live at the Blue Note in Tokyo in 2019. Fantastic concert, great guitarist and a beautiful person. These guitars have great looks and will probably never sound better! 😊
