This is my go-to guitar for playing, recording and gigging these days... over my beloved Martin 00-16, believe it or not. But part of the appeal is its tiny size ...I'm 4'11" and this is the first guitar that seemed 'made for me.'

Wow! ❤ big sound for a little one. I'm very impressed. The OM has a very nice voice, loud and clear! Thanks!

Actually, the difference is that the M20 is part of the Guild USA Series, and that the M120 is part of the Westerly Collection. Guild USA is made in the USA. The M120 is Asian made. Think what Fender has done in manufacturing guitars in the US (ie. American Standards) and those made in Mexico. The M120 is a fine guitar. I own one. Its value is outstanding since, although it is made in Asia, it is manufactured with a solid back, top, and sides. Many tier 2 guitars made overseas or south of the border feature a solid top, but laminated back and sides. For certain, the M20 is better made, and most noticeably in the neck, but they sound similar. In the end, one needs to justify the $1000 dollars more to purchase the M20. For that, one gets a better neck on the guitar. But if the price jump is big, especially if you will use the guitar for limited use (ie. finger picking with alternate tunings - as is my story), then the M120 is an outstanding buy. I think that it is the best buy in the sub $1000 dollar small body guitar market.

I've chosen this guitar for my brother, killer for its size and price!

I have Guild's 1961 M20 (not M120) and it sounds pretty much exactly like this. Fine guitars, these ones!

Stan Makita! LOL....funny guy. Didn't know Stan could play the guitar? At any rate, nice sounding guitar for its overall size. It would be ideal for those players who find a dreadnaught or grand acoustic to cumbersome. I'm sure the price is right as well? All the best from Bobby Hull.

I like that it gives, strumming, as much as it can. Holding back just ain't cool.

Great guitars, I have a GAD D125 and a GAD GC2. The M120 is on my radar as well.

Stan, anyone ever told you how much you resemble Tony Polecastro?

I am sure this m120 has a 1and 3/4 " nut not 1 and 11/16ths
