Our First Impressions Of Cyprus🇨🇾 (we're in love)

In today's episode, we bring you on our first two days in the incredibly interesting country of Cyprus, an island split between three (or four, if you count the UN) powers and with a complicated history. (The three powers are the Republic of Cyprus (Greek), Turkey, and the UK.)

These days, it's a popular beach destination for us Europeans, and it was definitely about time we went there!

On this trip, we would only explore the southern Greek part. In the future, we'll hopefully be able to visit Northern Cyprus too (controlled and recognized only by Turkey).

We are Oskar & Dan, two boys from Sweden who decided to change the course of our lives, drop out of university, and live life full-time. We're trying to see and learn as much about the world as possible while we're young. I'm living in Cyprus for the past 10 years (I am from Greece). I still cannot drive manuals here in Cyprus. The shifter linkages are designed for RHD cars and the 1st gear is away from the driver.

Friends! I grew up in Greece and Canada but sadly, I've never visited Cyprus (it's been on my bucket list for a while)! It looks so nice and I'm so happy you're enjoying the food! I visited Greece back in October 2019 and it truly is the best time to go! The weather is sublime, the water is still warm, and most of the tourists are gone at that point.
