2017 Nakano Takoyaki . In the Broadway Mall. Have upscaled over the years. Always stop by here for some Takoyaki when we are in Nakano.
Over the years the Nakano has gone upscale, there are more restaurants and shops since three new universities have opened. The Broadway Mall seems to have benefited greatly.
I love Takoyaki, there is a small standup bar just beside the shop where you can get a beer, water or soft drink.
Takoyaki are small pieces of octopus the are cooked in a batter. The cook twirls them as they cook in a cast iron unit that looks like a giant egg carton. Fast hands required!
