Correct me if I’m wrong, but is the RPM decreasing as it cuts towards center of the wheel? I would’ve assumed the RPM would increase as it reaches center?

Do they stay balanced after this procedure? I'd imagine they were balanced before hand your facing pass looked a little uneven like you may not be parallel with the original surface

In UK this is diamond facing wheels.. You can only fix wheel maybe once.

How fast is the wheel spinning? Seem you would not be able to do this if the wheel was warped...is there an initial to square up the wheel?
