The city employees clean the streets day and night. We all have to do our part.

the problem is the city doesn't sweep the streets. the city of detroit just retstarted the sweeping program summer 2017. but for several or more years before that the city did not sweep the streets!!!of course more catch basins are going to be full of debris!!

yes and cleaning the sewers in the allies will help do the same thing. Yet the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department won't do it they say that the allies are closed off. Come in the Jefferson/Chalmers and show me who closed off their alley, the problem is that they are over grown and nothing has been done to clean them up.. It would also help when the vacant lots get cut by the contractors that they clean the streets to if it was for a home owner they would but for the city they don't care they get paid any way
