for some reason, even though I followed the correct path multiple times, it opens it in a notepad file and wont let me save it

So, I did all the steps, but when I launch the game, the EnableDebugConsole reset to 0 automatically...
So I can't use it in game, even when I change the parameter while playing

i wrote the enabledebugconsole in the options cause it didn't have the option and put =1 at the end and it still didn't work

I’m having an issue where everytime I change the value of enable debug console to 1 and relaunch the game, it changes it back to 0

So i followed the steps perfectly. Yes i saved it. Isaac wasnt open when i did. I pressed every key on the keyboard, none of them opened the console menu. How do you use it once you follow these steps?
