WE DON'T HAVE TO INFRINGE ON ANYONES RIGHTS TO CURE THIS.  Think outside the box.  This idea makes all 2nd amendment arguments moot.  The constitution doesn't mention ammunition.   Sleepy Joe should just invoke the war powers act and confiscate all the ammunition, on all store shelves, with compensation of course, but, and this is important, not in private possession.   This creates panic buying and hoarding. Then, when the dust settles and it's proven to work, prohibit the manufacturer and importation of new. Pretty much makes any gun useless.  Bullets become so rare they're horded.  A eighteen year old living with mom couldn't afford 5 bullets, let alone hundreds. Oh, yeah,   and it'll happen in days, not decades.
