How To Scoop Impossibles

I wanted to try to give a better understanding of how this tricks works so that you do impossibles rather than 360 shove its. This is something that happens to both beginners and pro's so I thought it needed some further clarification to add to my original how to video.

The main thing to take away from this video is that your back foot isn't slamming down on the tail like you would for other tricks. It's pushing down still but it's more of a scooping/sweeping motion that causes the board to rotate.

Here's a tip that helped me to complete the rotation in the first 1 hour: while you're scooping with your back foot, think of where your front foot was, and when you bring it back, think of where your back foot was. Yeah so it's like a circular motion

Good impossibles dude. It’s worth also pointing out that these are way easier to learn on a very smooth surface. The tail is in contact with the ground longer on this trick than for a normal Ollie, so any extra friction is going to mess with your scoop. I guess the trick for rough ground is just to go really fast, but I’m not at that level yet!
