My family owns John’s of Bleecker Street! Thanks for mentioning us. It is names after my great grandfather John Sasso. The secret is a brick oven heated by coal. Across the street my uncle Frank and his brothers own Ottomanelli Prime Meats!

I haven't been to NYC since I was a young girl, I probably was 12 maybe, I'm trying to remember might be even younger than that 2004 or 2005. So been a while. I'm 31 now, and I still remember Luigi's Pizza to this day, and want to go back one day. I also remember eating at this pizza place in long island, don't remember the name, but it was so good. I'm actually glad I was able to experience Luigi's even before all the hype. I can't wait to go back one day, hopefully I can next year.

Nothing beats Bleecker Street Pizza! I literally extend my layovers at JFK just to be in New York for a day or two so I can come back and get some Nona Maria's!
