Why Audi is better at car design than BMW and Mercedes!

The charge ports on the new BMW iX and Mercedes EQC are rather lazy compared to the cool system on the Audi eTron.

Nice thing about the Audi charge ports is that when one side no longer works you can use the other side and save on the expensive repair 😅

The two Audi ports are not the same though. One of them is AC charging only while the other has AC and DC charging

I have an Audi TT from 1999, the fuel cap has a spring inside and it pops out everytime I press the button to open it, it wasn’t something they needed to do, but it’s so cool

It’s all fun and games until the actuators fail out of warranty and you can’t charge your car

Probably the real reason there’s a charging port on each side just in case one of the units fail

The irony when you cant charge your car cause it’s completely dead and the port cover wont open.
