I just cried listening to this for the first time while watching Max's Vivaldi reimagined concert on NPR. tears streaming down my face at the raw emotion that is wrapped up in this song. there is no particular emotion I can assign to this piece...it feels like a blend of every emotion possible. it seems to fully embody everything we experience as a collective human race, and for that, it has become one of the most emotive pieces I've ever heard. incredible and so moving.
