I'm eyeing the Holiday by TM Logan cuz I'm in a thriller-y mood. Water on the cover, seems like it isn't a big 5 imprint either + summer thriller :) that I'm hearing great things about. I'm reading Mask of Mirrors by M.A. Carick for political (bonus since it's queer) fantasy. Great recs as always, Cass, thanks for this!!! I can't wait to start.

City of Dusk was on my tbr for this month but might push it back to next month as I don't think I'm going to get to everything haha. Do I read Legacy of Ash next month? Do I tackle the big chunky book? (Illborn and The Hunger of the Gods staring at me as I mention chunky books hahaha)
Yeees read Jade City! :P For indie/self-pub, I'd recommend the Iron Breakers series, first book is Stag's Run by Zaya Feli. It's a queer political fantasy :)

Would you consider The Bone Shard Daughter, Valor, and/or Priory of the Orange Tree to be political fantasy? Having trouble cuz I’m slumping so options for what are interesting me atm are limited.
