Skylight now has both morning and evening routines/chores. You can also, with the subscription, email a picture or flyer to your unique address and it will automatically populate the printed dates on the Skylight calendar (and app.)

I love the profile pictures and the chores on Hearth but love the skylight recipes, meal planning, photo display and visual calendar color block display. I’ll have 4 kids. We got a Hearth for our family and I regret it. You can't change the background photo, get the weather, or even look at the lists and to-do's without paying for a monthly subscription. Basic on-device features are completely blocked. Hopefully Skylight is better, but my next calendar will probably just be a large Echo Show.

Will the hearth ever have a color option for the calendar, do you have any idea? That’s my biggest hang up. With this review, the hearth sounds perfect. But I need that color coding skylight offers with 4 kids!

8:50 a camera in your house that you dont know what it does, and you pay a subscription for this “service” to let them know all of your plans. Sounds amazing where can I get one.

A step-by-step explanation of the Sidekick and Helper work would have been helpful! Although most were covered, more attention to those two features would have helped me. I have teenagers, and we don’t struggle with teeth brushing, etc., but we need to see how they can add their school appointments and documents to the calendar when they’re busy running around (like me).

Thank you for the comparison video. I have the Skylight and love it, although I would love to privatize some lists. Also, the Hearth routines is pretty neat, but my kids aren't too distracted by the Skylight layout. I specifically got the Skylight because there wasn't a camera on it, as it's in our bedroom.
