How to Wire a Toggle Switch with a Stock Fuel Pump

This video shows how I used a 120 volt light switch, 16 gauge wire and clamps. As well as the stock fuel pump and wiring, which is what I took to my toggle switch and battery for the car.

Very simple and it takes the pump off the Fuse box! That took me out in a derby last year.

Extremely helpful. I blew a capacitor in my ecu which controlled volts to the fuel wires. Instead of buying an ecu i wired the pump to a hidden switch on my 86 fiero! all i added was a fuse link. Thank you for this

is it necessary to put an inline fuse between battery positive wire and switch to pump?

You couldn’t ground both negatives? Then you wouldn’t need to run a lead all the way back to battery. You only need to run a lead for positive insulated lead
