If you wanted to also add the lume fill paint that the number originally came with, do you need to make another template or you fill it by hand??

I compared both faces before restoration and post restoration from the video and I gotta say I liked it the way it was originally with the patina. It was really nice. The restored face didn’t look quite as good anymore. They looked more plain.

Been looking into pad printing, and this showed up on my suggestions. What type of laser and/or machine do you use to make the watch dial templates?

Looks great but I’d be pissed if someone sold that to me as new old stock or “original dial”.
I don’t understand why you wouldn’t just print this on a new blank dial as opposed to completely ruining the original dial just to print over it.
I’m sure someone would’ve bought the old dial as it was

Not restoration, this will be considered non original

No, this isn't a dial restoration, but a dial recreation. If the original dial was shown at the beginning, then it was perfectly fine the way it was. Stripping it then recreating the original dial causes irreversible damage that's a nonsensical option. It's also not a laser engraved dial, but an image transfer from a plate/die that's been laser engraved--big difference.
If it's for a client, then from a business perspective, I can see the _practicality_ of it, but that's only when the original dial is completely FUBAR. But, you shouldn't call it anything more than what it actually is--a recreated dial. That said, if you're going with the recreation route, then IMHO it would've been better to laser engrave the actual dial to give it more depth.
