If anyone is doing a bookshop crawl through Edinburgh I would recommend Lighthouse Bookshop. The staff are lovely and I think the description on the site sums them up perfectly 😊 “Lighthouse is a queer-owned and woman led independent community bookshop. We are an unapologetically activist, intersectional, feminist, antiracist, lgbtq+ community space.”

I was never in UK and I really want to come, omg😮 The closest shop aesthetically that I can reach from Germany is Waterstones in Amsterdam and I was once in Maastricht in a bookstore located in old church… I would DIE there and spend all my money 😊

Would love to go there sometime ..❤ I just finished perfume, it reminded me a lot of the glutton by a.k blakemore for some reason .. maybe it was the French setting and the fact the character has an unusual talent but as a natural redhead with green eyes, it made me feel more uneasy than it probably intended - kinda like I’m unsure whether I would of been safe around Patrick suskind and definitely not from the character in that book ! Hah 😂 and yes we should definitely read more Edward Carey - I think I have Edith on my kindle so will join ya on that one ! Great choices x
