Guitar Fret Slotting Jig

Elmer fret slotting jig, scale template sourced from TLC Guitar Goods (Netherlands) as a Martin 24.9 and 25.4 scale was required and was not available from Elmer. Slight modification of the mitre box needed - Elmer box comes fitted with a very small diameter register pin but the TLC template has 2mm position slots. Fortunately, TLC supply a 2mm pin so the hole in the mitre box just needed drilling to 2mm to allow the pin to fit. Using a sharp toothed fret saw this set up works very well, producing an accurately slotted board.
