You just need to select the clip you want to resize, then open the Inspector, scroll down to Retime and Scaling, then Scaling and on the right menu select Fill, and it's done

This video saved me alot of time and frustration, I changed my resolution (4k to 2.7K) on my gopro. But i didnt realize i clicked 4:3 because im an idiot.. lol

Does this transformation distort the video? My 4:3 video has text, and I don't want to distort the text embedded in the video by changing the aspect ratio.

Thanks for the video. I found out there is an easier way with the newer Version, just go to the Inspector of the your Video, under "Retime and Scaling" there is an option called "stretch". Thats it.

Excellent tip. Thanks for sharing. Just one small suggestion - I prefer a demo that sticks to the main subject, no need to explain or include side issues (eg at 1:15 where you mentioned BM DR. Viewers watching this must already be DR users). Then it will be simpler and easier to follow unless you add in parts to meet the minimum time requirement (if any), Cheerio.

Hi! Am I the only one getting insanely high processing/delivery times when using the superview macro? For a 3 min video in 1440p 4:3 it takes resolve 40 MIN to process the clip into 1080p 16:9 superview

I have DaVinci Resolve 18 on MacOS. There’s no superview under macros, in my software.
