For many of you who may not known this before joining Square Enix and composing music for Final Fantasy 11, 13-2 and 13-3, FF14, FF15 Episode Prompto, Dissidia NT and Stranger of Paradise, Naoshi Mizuta used to work at Capcom where he served as one of the composers for the Street Fighter Alpha games

Love this battle theme so much, might even be my favorite FF battle theme. Love the movement it has, seems uncertain and weary at first, but resolves into a "we can do this" chord progression with some lovely violin playing. Such a catchy melody, but doesn't get *old* and that's the important part, you're gonna hear a battle theme a lot. Good thing is, this game had so many varieties of them, so whenever they brought this one back I was happy. It's funny to hear a somewhat melancholy track with a groove to it, just a different vibe altogether and I love it.
