Sony to Launch the 2024 Xperia One - Every Xperia 1 VI Leaks [Android News Byte]

Rumors have suggested a new Xperia smartphone from Sony is coming, and today a teaser launch video has been released.

So that is the only bit of information that has been confirmed.
However, the rumor mill has been picking up speed lately and we recently saw a number of leaked images from alleged marketing materials.

These images all but confirm the previous leak surrounding the next flagship smartphone from Sony.

There have been a number of leaks for the Sony Xperia 1 Mark 6.
Alleged dimensions claim to be 162mm x 74.4mm, which, if true, means that Sony has listened to the community and are making the phone a tiny bit shorter and slightly wider than its predecessor.

It will still feel like a tall hpone, with its 19.5:9 aspect ratio, but should be more inline with other popular phones on the market.

Another rumor suggests the phone will sport a 6.5" display and will be made available in three different colors including Black, Silver, and Olive Green.

Sony even looks to be working on an official kickstand case for those who use their phones propped up like that.
These images also show the 3.5mm headphone port will be making a return at the top of the phone.

As we get to the hardware of the upcoming Sony Xperia 1 Mk 6, the three rear-facing cameras are likely to be 48MP Exmor T sensors.
These are likely to be a 24mm main camera, a 16mm ultrawide, and an 85mm to 170mm variable telephoto camera system.
Another leak claims the phone will be rocking the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, an improved cooling system, and a variable refresh rate OLED display.

This will all be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with both wireless and reverse wireless charging.

Remember, everything mentioned here in this video, except for the launch date, is nothing more than a rumor. Granted, these leaks do come from reputable sources, but as always, these details can change at anytime before they are announced by the company itself.

Sony may as well stop making phones. I would love to own one but they are always WAY over priced and they get literally zero support after the release them.. Until they start giving 3-5 years of updates, it's a No Sale. ever.
