What matters most, chemistry or compatibility?

This is so good. I have great chemistry with a lot of people, simply because I’m a people person. But are we compatible?. Do we serve the same purpose? Are our foundations and beliefs the same.? Just because they look good, make you laugh, and enjoy your company, doesn’t mean they’re meant to do life with you. After the infatuation phase die down, what else do we They’re just an associate/friend not your Wife/Husband. And that’s Perfectly okay. We are human! I’ve learned to date and follow my purpose. And let God do the Alignment. I’ll be able to Sustain a Marriage better that way!

Yes chemistry is overrated. I’ve had chemistry with many people. Certain personalities can have chemistry with anyone. Literally every man thinks we have chemistry. Or that we “vibe”. Vibing takes place easily when your vibrational frequency is high(of love). So I never concur until I confirm it with my own discernment. Also the same with compatibility. Compatibility imo isn’t finding a twin. It’s someone who BALANCES you. Compliments who you are for your own growth and expansion. Your most compatible person is likely to stretch you, not keep you comfortable and agree with you on every little thing. Healthy Balance!

Another thing to look for in compatibility is mentality. I’ve met men who met all the foundational standards mentioned here but (as example) they had a spirit of defense/a disagreeable spirit/a chip on their shoulder. Me being “cup is half full” minded or seeing the best in people/life, a cynical person would be draining for me. I believe your General view on life should be aligned in order to be compatible as well. Unless you enjoy that kind of struggle loll Just something that came to mind 🙂

Chemistry is fleeting so pay attention to his/her authenticity before you think it’s heaven sent. Now on compatibility, are your standards/foundational beliefs the same...if so your views on faith family and finances will agree. That’s what you want to look for keeping in mind that you may not have the same taste in music or food which is good because you’ll bring balance to one another. They both matter- the key is take the TIME to figure if they mix.

When I was with my Fiancé, I fell in love with him bc we were soooo much a like, we were both photographers, both vegan at the time, even looked alike low key... so we fell hard. When we moved in together, I seen the major things that we Needed to be compatible with... ex: paying bills, learning to fight fair, reading books and articles... we Had Nothing In Common and it caused a lot of riffs. So that whole compatibility and chemistry piece means nothing if the person isn’t Foundationally on the same page! We had so much a like but fought like cats and dogs. We planned for our beautiful son and I can say that’s the only thing I left with of value.

This made me realize how compatible my boyfriend and i are. My previous boyfriend was too much like me and it was draining. But my current boyfriend and i shared new things that brings us closer. We have the same humour and maturity and love for each other, but theres differences that pushes us and doesnt leave us stagnant.
