"Silent Night" (German: "Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht") was composed in 1818 by Franz Xaver Gruber to lyrics by Joseph Mohr, in the small town of Oberndorf bei Salzburg, Austria.

Instrumentation: 2 trumpets, horn in Eb, trombone and tuba. In the video I play the tuba part on my flugel down two octaves.

Magnificent as always! There is a sublime beauty when Christmas hymns and carols are played by a brass ensemble, and you capture that spirit perfectly, Maeve. Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy, Safe, and Healthy New Year in 2021.

PS: I loved the coda!

Arranging credit goes to Dr. George Ellwanger. I had previously posted a transposed version with some slight mods.
