On Monday, May 18, 2020 Fort Lauderdale Mayor Dean J. Trantalis joined with the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce and leaders from the local business community at the Riverside Hotel, located at 620 E Las Olas Boulevard, to announce details regarding Fort Lauderdale’s reopening and provide an update on health trends.

Leaders from key businesses representing restaurants, retail stores, salons, gyms, and personal and professional services discussed specific steps that are being taken by each industry to protect customers, safeguard public health, promote social distancing, instill consumer confidence, and work to ensure patrons are comfortable as they return to businesses that are reopening in Fort Lauderdale.
