Okay, this needs to be a series, maybe with a running theme of how the most foolhardy or unlucky Teraxians get assigned to the Earth embassy. The outsiders' view through a lens of ever-present terror is unique, and a great way to examine the human condition. I'd be especially interested in what the Teraxians would think of carbon nanotubes, graphene, synthetic diamonds, and other minerals they might consider foodstuffs.

These stories have become part of my nightly afterwork routine. My grandfather even loves them as they remind him of the radio shows he would listen to as a kid in the 40s and 50s. The narrator is wonderful and really brings the characters to life and the stories are very creative and fun.

just the range of voice on this female narrator and the one from the last vid is a very entertaining time when watching vids from either back to back the contrast makes it feel fresh

My favourite part is that the humans made first contact with 2 alien species the crystal people missed.
Since nobody believed carbon based life would be possible, their scanners where not programmed for them, but the scanners of other carbon based life would be.

There's one major goof in this story... opals are considered delicacies by these crystal beings... but opals are formed by water, and contain 3%~21% water by weight... rubies or sapphires might be a better snack for them :D
(Diamonds can contain trapped water droplets.)
