The person that sang this song was an American....and Puerto Rican. After 911, he was only one that sang NATIONAL ANTHEM at Shea Stadium...and freaking rocked it. NO ONE QUESTIONED HIS HERITAGE THEN. I am an American and PUERTO RICAN. Marc is a freaking ICON.

A couple of years ago I caught the last half of some live performance at some big event of Marc Anthony on TV, and I thought, "Wow!" I had no idea he was so good. This is only the second time I've seen him perform. I need to make more of an effort to hear and see him. This performance reminded me that he deserves some special attention.
