I interpreted this song as someone who'd want to go out and discover the world, talk to wise elders, see the cosmos unfold, and find their place in the universe, before they "fall asleep"; it's like saying "I want to live my life before i get old."
What hit me the most was the line "When the world's got me weathered, i'll finally find my way home." I think what they meant by that was: *we'll eventually find a place to "settle" (a place where we can feel at home) once we've gone through different types of people, places, experiences, etc. because by then would we have a sense of contentment*--A feeling of satisfaction after all these adventures we've gone through.
This is just my interpretation though. Such a lovely song kudos to Bruno and the production team.

honestly, Bruno Major is one of the only artists where I LOVE every single song. Literally, every album is AMAZING. Every song is meaningful and beautiful. Lucky to live in a time where his music is present.
