I was expecting we will get Diabellze the Original Sinkeeper but turn out it was the new Snake-Eyes Diabellstar. But still even without Diabellze the deck is very strong thanks to Nightmare Apprentice powerful effect that can search Illusion monster. This deck got a new support that searchable very strong potential to be top tier deck atleast for Diamond or Master rank. The new Melodious cards come from new selection pack Geas of the Light in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel.

- For this combo you need Swordknight
- Normal summon Swordknight activate it's effect tribute it then special summon Berfomet
- Activate Berfomet effect to search Gazelle and Chimera Fusion
- Activate Chimera Fusion to fusion summon Chimera the King using Berfomet and Gazelle as materials
- Chain 1 Gazelle - Chain 2 Berfomet - Chain 3 Chimera the King
- Discard 1 card from opponent hand - Special summon Swordknight - Search Coatl
- Recycle Chimera Fusion
- Activate Chimera Fusion to fusion summon Berfomet the King using Chimera the King and Swordknight as materials
- Activate Berfomet the King effect dump Barrier Statue
- Activate Coatl effect to search Swordknight
- During opponent turn activate Chimera the King effect
- Special summon Barrier Statue

Nightmare Apprentice is such a great Illusion Support card. It makes a world of difference in consistency for existing and future Illusion archetypes. Plus, the animation is a nice bonus.
