This is seriously my favourite dish when I don't know what to cook. My add ins are hotdog pieces, corn, whatever mushrooms I have, kimchi, green onion, and mozzarella cheese instead. I've never liked American cheese and the mozzarella gives a better cooling to the spicy soup.

I was with you until i saw the Spam! I still remember the horrible, greasy taste after 60 years because we were fed it at school. Who would eat it today unless they couldn't afford ham?? I'd rather be vegetarian!
