This week was pretty quiet for the most part, right until Wednesday where massive news broke with Bungie announcing more layoffs at the studio. Not only that, but they are deepening their integration with SIE. AND they're spinning off one of their teams into a proper PlayStation Studio. And well, we can see from former employees that it's the Bungie CEO who's to blame. So we dissect all the drama going on there. As far as Naughty Dog goes, the cancellation of TLOU Online as a separate game was poor leadership. The year it was cancelled was the year it was supposed to come out. They should have known about the Live Service aspect that it would take teams and teams of updating and support. The fact that they had to ask Bungie this is mind-blowing. I mean, I would think if you are the industry you should know what is already going on.

This was a waste of time, money, and it shows leadership needs to be replaced at naughty dog.

The PSVR2 really feels like a device put out by PS3 era Sony. No backwards compatibility, insane price point, lack of dedicated games, it was just a complete miss and it’s kind of insane given Sony’s standing in the industry. It’s the Vita all over again

Ps plus essential is “fine” maybe like 40-50 a year “fine” but not 80 with what is being offered by competitors. Even epic games has better games weekly sometimes so I don’t know where this price hike is justified
