I think Lloyd becomes afraid that he's letting down Arin as a sensei/mentor. So, this causes his visions to blur into insecurities and fears.

On the other hand, maybe Arin does get very angry with Lloyd, and this leads to Lloyd having a drwam or vision of Arin punching him, but Arin would never do so.

It's very intriguing, though. Lloyd is taking many hits as well

I have an amazing theory, one that I hope happens. (But don’t actually think will happen)
We know how Jay is working for lord Ras this season, and when he does, the ninja keep saying they are his friends. This causes his loyalty to waver and makes him second guess himself. Meanwhile, Ras sees the devastation that Arin is in, and uses it to turn Arin against the ninja team. Then, when Jay decides to go back to his “friends, ” Ras (somehow) takes his elemental powers and gives them to Arin. This make Ras a better friend to Arin then the ninja ever were, but it also makes Jay(still without memories) realizes the ninja are his real friends.
In Season 3, Jay will try to get his memories back, while the ninja have to fight an evil(though really misguided) lightning powered Arin. Ras will lie to Arin, saying that his master wants to undo the merge, and make everything go back to normal. Which also means finding Arin’s parents.

I don't think so. In part 1, arin has been experiencing insecurities about his worth as a ninja and in the mid season finale, lord Ras told him that he could be something special but the ninja hold him back and he needs to find a true master that will teach him the same thing as lord Ras: strength.it's possible arin ends up turning to become stronger and be worth something.
