the extra thing I saw about the ScarJo case, is thst Disney mentioned a statement was essentially 'how dare you be heartless: people gave been hurt by the pandemic!' after they laid off thousands of their workers when the pandemic hit.

This is what happens when a studio thinks that they can skim from the very people who help make the franchise or film they were apart of and then try to take what is owned to them. Like Dame Olivia. ScarJo's lawsuit is just for the new era of the streaming platform and what possible problems that film studios might face down the road. Some of them are already facing them right now.

At the money these actors make for "acting" I don't really care for them. I do hope Scarlet Jo gets what she's due but these same people don't go to bed with anxieties of life work in dangerous conditions for meager pay. I fix traffic lights during high volume times of day for a lousy pay just barely above what I made working retail.

Considering the mess of a issue regarding the Johansson vs Disney Lawsuit I honestly have mixed feelings about it. Disney definitely needs to honor the contract with Johansson despite them trying to weasel themselves out of it by using the Pandemic as a excuse for a smaller paycheck.
